Band

The band derived from the NSBM band Stutthof. Stutthof reunited in 2019 with Acherontas members to play the NSBM festival Asgardsrei in Ukraine.

The band worked with a lot of NSBM or NSBM-distributing labels such as Sturmglanz, W.T.C., Zyklon-B Productions, Darker Than Black, Dark Side Records, Night Birds Records, Werewolf Promotion, Hammer of Damnation, Obscure Abhorrence Productions, Tour de Garde or New Era.

Members

Nikolaos Panagopoulos ran the NSBM band Stutthof until founding this band. He reassembled the band in 2019 to play the NSBM festival Asgardsrei in Ukraine. He played live guitars for the NSBM band Legion of Doom and for Nightbringer. He was guest / session musician for the NSBM bands Der Stürmer (2006 / 2022) and Naer Mataron (2013), as well as for bands like Black Altar (2017) and Inferno (2017 / 2018).

Lorenzo De Angelis is part of the NS(BM)-bands A Monumental Black Statue and Deviate Damaen.

Demogorgon is part of the NSBM band Legion of Doom. He was part of the NSBM band Stutthof.

Akhkhar was part of the NSBM band Stutthof. He was also live bassist for Nightbringer (2012).

C. Docre was live drummer for Nightbringer (2012).

Gionata Potenti played drums for the NSBM band Ad Hominem in 2009.

Scorpios contributed vocals and lyrics to the NSBM band Drowning the Light (2007 – 2012).

Sotiris Schoinas is part of the NSBM band Naer Mataron. He played live guitar at the Stutthof reunion show at the NSBM festival Asgardsrei in 2019.

Appearances

On January 6th 2007, the band played a show with Horna in Athens, Greece.

The band played the NSBM-friendly Deathkult Open Air in Germany in 2013.

The band played the NSBM-friendly Darkness Rising festival in Serbia in 2013.

The band played the NSBM-friendly Black Flames of Blasphemy festival in Finland in 2013.

The band played the Under the Black Sun festival in Germany in 2016.

The band played the NSBM festival Asgardsrei in Ukraine in 2018.

The band did a European Tour with Inferno in 2019 (Eosforian Adversary European Tour).

The Band played the NSBM-friendly Rites of North festival in Finland in 2020.

In 2022, after a lot of criticism and public debate about the lineup of Finnish Steelfest hosting a lot of NSBM / far right extremist bands, many artists refrained from playing. Acherontas played nonetheless and also returned in 2024.

The band was announced to play the NSBM festival Metal Threat in the US in 2025 but did not due to visa issues.
