No NSBM label, also releases leftist bands. However, there are some questionable releases. Label founder Michal Berberian was criticized for his collaborations with Roman Sayenko (e.g. Drudkh, Hate Forest) in his many musical endeavors. Released the ‚Pretorians‘ album of the NSBM band Naer Mataron. in 2008 via sublabel Season of Mist Underground Activists.
In an interview with the German blog ‚Metal1‘ in 2020, Berberian gave statements about controversial bands on his label (link (German)):
On Deströyer 666:
‚No, the are no leftists, they are no feminists, they are not very mindful – and you know what? That is okay. I am fed up with everyone being called a Nazi who is not a left-wing extremist Antifa.‚
On Drudkh:
‚Drudkh are ukrainian Nationalists. That is all they are. They love their country, they even fought for it when Russia invaded. Is this wrong? Not in my life. He [Roman Sayenko] said to me: My grandfather fought Hitler, we have to fight when the Russians arrive. Most of the money he makes goes to an orphanage for blind children.[…] So no, I am not a political vigilant label, I despise this red fascism as well as the real one.‚
On Inquisition (referring to the child porn incident with Jason Weirbach):
‚When Inquisition was called out (I had no idea) I immediately cancelled the contract.‘
