Band
The band’s lyrical and ideological concept is defined by Robert Fudali alone. In interviews and lyrics he expresses a positive attitude towards Adolf Hitler, Aryanism and white supremacy, although he considers his band not to be a NS band but a Slavic pagan / heathen band. More about the ideological concept of Graveland can be read in this article relased by the Adelaide University in 2020.
The band was dropped by Lethal Records in 1995 because of the band’s right wing extremist statements in an interview with German ‚Ablaze‘ zine (issue #6, October 1995). The band then moved to No Colours Records from then on.
On the 1997 album ‚Following the Voice of Blood‘, the lyrics of the song ‚The White Hand’s Power‘ were written by Hendrik Möbus of Absurd / Darker Than Black. It mixes white supremacy themes with Tolkien lore.
The band is signed to the NSBM label No Colours Records since 1995 until today. Most of the labels / distribution partners Fudali worked and works with are NSBM or NSBM distributing labels.
The band appears on the ‚Gemeinschaftstonträger‘ compilation of the NSBM labels Christhunt Productions and No Colours Records, and other No Colours label compilations along other NSBM bands.
The band was part of the NSBM compilation series ‚The Night And The Fog‘.
The band was featured on many NS compilations, some looking more or less unofficial. Unclear if the band did actually authorize these releases.
