Band

The band is a solo project of Illia Rafalskyi. He released his music via the NSBM label Werewolf Promotion, latest with another solo project, Morok. Also his projects Bezmir and Galdur released there. He was part of Endless Battle (2009 – 2018) and the NSBM band Kroda (2023 – 2025). Kroda members are part of the live setups of his projects until today. His wife Julia works as a visual artist for bands, e.g. for the NSBM band Blutfahne (2017).

On November 5th 2018, Severoth posted a photo on social media about the band traveling together with the NSBM band Burshtyn (coming from the Winter Fog II event in Wroclaw).

In July 2023, Severoth advertised the book ‚Black Sun‘ by Vasyl Shkliar, which is a war novel through the eyes of a member of the fascist regiment ‚Azov‘. The cover shows a Black Sun.

In 2025, Severoth cancelled his appearance on the Dark Troll festival in Germany because of two Russian bands being present on the lineup (Nytt Land and Grima).

In May 2025, Severoth had much praise on social media for the NSBM affine Steelfest. The 2025 performance was later officially released as a live video.

In March 2026, Severoth released a statement on social media which reads like this:

„Hello!

I want to make it clear: I am 100% against fascist, racist, antisemitic, and any other hateful ideologies. I do not support NSBM and I have never been part of any movement aligned with it.

Severoth is an apolitical, atmospheric one-man musical project, deeply rooted in black metal — although I believe in the spirit of true art without borders of genre. With my music I try to explore the deepest corners of our souls and minds in search of eternal light. Linking it to shallow ideologies only ruins the magic. Sveroth is not that. I’m not that.

To clear things up:

I am not a member of Kroda; I only played two live shows as a session musician.

My last release on Werewolf Promotion was 8 years ago.

I understand why some people may have questions, and I regret that some past choices could be read differently than I intended. My position is simple: no hate ideologies. I’m not here to argue on the internet. My position is clear above, and I won’t feed this further. Thank you for understanding. I hope this will clear the skies of doubt for some of you.“

Werwolf is part of the NSBM band Kroda. He is also part of Eskapism and Runenwacht

Rostislav Pavlovsky is part of the NSBM band Kroda. He plays with NSBM musicians in his other bands Stryvigo and Temple of Torment. He was part of the NS band М8Л8ТХ and played with NSBM musicians in his former bands Colotyphus, Deadgod, and Grave Circles.

Twisted Horn posts images on his social media with him or associates wearing NS or NS associated merch, like ‚Thor Steinar‘, ‚Label 23‘ or other merch with NS codes on it.

Appearances

On November 3rd, 2018, the band played the Winter Fog II event in Wrocław, Poland, along with Azel’s Mountain and the NSBM band Burshtyn.

The band played the Ukrainian Metal East Festival in Kharkiv in 2019 along with NSBM / far right extremist bands.

The band played the NSBM friendly Steelfest in Finland in 2025.

On October 4th 2025, the band played a show with The Chamberlain in Helsinki, Finland.
