Band
The band’s lyrics showcase antisemitism (e.g. „Tearing Down Jerusalem“, „On the Mission“ EP, 1999 or „Genocide Operation“, Split album with Deathspell Omega, 2001) and glorification of the holocaust (e.g. „Chambers“ from the „Night of the Unholy Flames“ Album, 2000). The „On the Mission“ EP Artwork shows a burning synagogue and a burning David’s Star. On the inner sleeve it displays the lines „Eliminate Zionist Cancer!“ and „Destroy Israel!„.
The band appeared on the „Black Metal Blitzkrieg“ sampler by End All Life Productions, along with German band Moonblood.
The band was part of the compilation ‚A Contre-Temps‘ released by the NSBM label Résilience in 2024.
The band’s live activities are organized by Hellwind Rituals booking agency, which also manages appearances e.g. for Satanic Warmaster, Commander Agares or White Death. It is a subsidiary of the Finnish NSBM distributing label Werewolf Records.
Members
Only steady member Mikko Aspa is active in the (Finnish) NSBM scene. He sells NS merch in his shop in Finland, releases NSBM via his labels Northern Heritage and Freak Animal Records and runs a currently active RAC project (Vapaudenristi).
Appearances
The live setup for Clandestine Blaze used to be basically Mgla with Mikko Aspa on vocals.
The band played the NSBM-friendly Turku Saatanalle festival in Finland in 2016 and 2025.
The Band played the NSBM festival Apocalyptic Rites in Finland in 2024.
On November 1st 2024, the band played a show with Satanic Warmaster in Tallinn, Estonia.
The band played the NSBM event The Gathering (by Steelfest) in 2025.
The band played the NSBM event Night of the Werewolves in Milan, Italy in 2026.
On April 18th 2026, the band played the NSBM event Intolerant Insurrection Fest at a venue run by the Hammerskin Network in Kerava, Finland, along with Nécropole, Sielunvihollinen, Sudentaival and the RAC band Marder.
The band played the NSBM festival Eternal Hate Fest in Czech Republic in 2026.
