Band

All of the labels the bands worked and works with have ties to the NSBM scene.

The band uses flags of the fascist UPA in artworks and promotional photos, e.g. on the split album with Oprich in 2005. Other promotional photos show Artem wearing a swastika shirt (see below linked Varis article).

The band covered songs from several NS bands, such as Burzum, Absurd, Honor, Temnozor, Nokturnal Mortum and Sokyra Peruna .

In an interview with the ‚Ruhrmetal‘ fanzine on June 15th 2006, Shinkar Artem was quoted like this:

Kroda is not just music! […]It is the echoes of Ancient Battles for Our Native Land and for Our Blood. It is the gnash of swords, clash of battle axes and hissing of arrows, crushing and sweeping away all the hostile being from Our Land. It is the resounds of terrible battle outcry of Aryan Warriors Allfadr and the raging roar of Aryan Archetype Wolfish Nature.

In another interview from the same year with Czech ‚Mortem‘ zine, Artem claims to be ‚Aryan‘, salutes the then active NS organization ‚Pagan Front‘ and advertises the antisemitic Z.O.G. conspiracy narrative. More on that in the linked interview and the Varis Network article linked below.

The band was part of the NSBM compilation ‚The Night And The Fog Part III‘ by Totenkopf Propaganda in 2007.

The band was part of a Burzum tribute (‚Lost Freedom‘) released in 2007 by Patriot Production along with other NSBM and RAC bands.

The band was part of the ‚Stimmen aus der Tiefe‘ compilation by the German NSBM label Blutvergiessen Productions in 2007, along with other NSBM bands.

The band was part of a tribute compilation for the Ukrainian RAC band Sokyra Peruna in 2008 (‚Ten Flaming Years‘).

The band was part of a tribute compilation for the Polish Neonazi Mariusz Szczerski, vocalist of the RAC band Honor, who died in 2005 from the injuries caused by a car accident. The album was released by Patriot Production in 2009 (‚The Last Drakkar‘).
